Onimusha: Way of the Sword – Launch Trailer

Capcom’s Onimusha: Way of the Sword launches September 4, 2026, casting you as Miyamoto Musashi wielding the Oni Gauntlet. The swordplay action game pits you against Genma monsters terrorizing early Edo-period Kyoto through blade-clashing duels that reward precise timing and technique.

The game emphasizes authentic sword combat alongside supernatural Oni Powers that unlock superhuman abilities. A demo is available now with save data bonuses for the full release. The trailer shows early development footage with some enemy dismemberment effects disabled.
