SaveGameVault is a community-driven archive of PC save files, mods, and save editors — plus a growing database of games with reviews, scores, and platform details. Launched in 2025, the Site is an independent, hobby-operated project run from France.

Why This Site Exists

Old save archives of the early 2010s (GameFAQs, Cheat Happens, etc.) are slowly dying. Reddit threads get buried. YouTube links rot. Save files get lost when communities shut down.

SaveGameVault is an attempt to preserve and organize this content in one clean, searchable database. No ads. No paywalls. No affiliate pressure. Just a community resource made by a gamer for gamers.

Who Runs It

Hi, I’m Killburger — a gamer based in France who built this site to scratch my own itch: finding a reliable archive of save files when I kept losing mine to corrupted cloud syncs.

I handle everything: curation, reviews, moderation, development, and occasional fights with LiteSpeed Cache.

How It’s Funded

It’s not. This is a hobby project. Running costs (hosting, domain) come from my pocket. I don’t run ads, sell data, or use affiliate links (at least not yet — if that changes, I’ll disclose it transparently).

If the Site grows enough to justify it, I may add non-intrusive options in the future (donation button, unobtrusive ads, or a “supporter” tier for perks). Any change will be announced openly.

What We’re Not

Not a piracy site. We don’t host cracked games, keygens, or anything enabling piracy.
Not a cheat site for online games. Save editors are for single-player content only.
Not affiliated with Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Steam, or any game publisher.
Not a news aggregator or SEO content farm. Every article is hand-curated.

Content Policy

We take content quality seriously:

Save files: manually reviewed, virus-scanned before publishing
Mods: verified for legitimacy and basic safety
User reviews: moderated for spam and abuse
News: sourced from original publishers and reputable outlets
Game data: compiled from official sources, press kits, and verified community wikis

The Site runs on WordPress with a custom theme. Key tech:
