This save pack covers Shiny Entertainment’s classic MDK with a save at the start of every one of its six levels. Drop the files in and any stage of Kurt Hectic’s one-janitor war against the alien invasion is one load away, from the first skydive out of the Jim Dandy to the final chase after Gunter Glut.
Saves for All 6 Levels — Each of MDK’s levels is a Minecrawler: a city-sized alien strip-mining machine grinding across the Earth, and each one is a sprawling hour-plus gauntlet of arenas with its own look, its own puzzles, and its own pilot waiting in the control center at the end. The saves put you at the start of each Minecrawler run, beginning with the trademark freefall from orbit, dodging radar cones and anti-air missiles on the way down with the level’s weapon drops from Dr. Hawkins.
Every Boss, Every Set Piece, On Demand — With a save per level, you can jump straight to any of the game’s famous moments: the sniper galleries that made the coil-suit’s zoom mode legendary, the bomber ride, the arena puzzles with their sniper-mortar tubes and grunt generators, or any of the six pilot showdowns, each of which demands its own strategy.
Why Level Saves Matter in MDK — The 1997 original has no level select; progress lives entirely in your save files, and a single playthrough only moves forward. This pack works as the mission select the game never had, which is especially handy in a game where levels routinely run over an hour and the difficulty spikes hard in the back half.
Full Loadout Progression — Each save carries what Kurt naturally has at that point in the campaign, so every Minecrawler plays out the way Shiny tuned it: the chain gun and ribbon chute always ready, and the level-specific goodies (sniper grenades, the World’s Most Interesting Bomb, Max’s help) arriving where the game intends.
Classic Version — These saves are for the PC release of MDK (retail, GOG, and Steam). The PlayStation port uses its own save format and isn’t compatible, and MDK2 is a separate game with separate saves.
