This save pack opens up all of Zero Hour from every possible angle: a save at the start of each of the 15 campaign missions, plus a complete Generals Challenge library with a save at the start of every battle for every playable general. Drop the files in and you can enter the expansion anywhere: any campaign briefing, or any Challenge matchup with any of the nine generals.
All 3 Campaigns, Saves for All 15 Missions — Zero Hour’s campaigns run in story order, five missions each, now with live-action news briefings before every mission:
- USA Campaign (5 missions) — opening with the retaliation strike on the GLA’s captured Baikonur Cosmodrome after the bio-missile launch, and following the American counterattack across the Middle East and the Mediterranean.
- GLA Campaign (5 missions) — the GLA regrouping under new leadership and hitting back at both superpowers, including the naval assault on a US carrier group, one of the most memorable missions in the series.
- China Campaign (5 missions) — China stepping up as the world’s counterweight, hunting the GLA across Europe to the final destruction of their war machine.
Each save drops you at the briefing of its mission, so any slice of the story is one load away.
Generals Challenge – Saves for Every Battle, Every General — The expansion’s signature mode is fully covered. All nine playable generals have their own save series, one file at the start of each battle in their gauntlet:
- USA — General Granger (Air Force), General Townes (Laser), General Alexander (Superweapon)
- China — General Kwai (Tank), General Fai (Infantry), General Tao (Nuke)
- GLA — Dr. Thrax (Toxin), Prince Kassad (Stealth), General Juhziz (Demolition)
Each general’s run climbs through the roster of rival generals in their fortified home arenas, ending with the hidden final boss, General Leang and her army drawn from all three factions. With this pack you can jump straight to any matchup: Thrax versus the Laser General’s power grid, the Tank General rolling into Kassad’s stealth maze, or any general’s final stand against Leang, without replaying the battles before it. That’s the full matchup matrix of the mode, ready to load.
Why These Saves Matter in Zero Hour — Like the base game, Zero Hour has no mission select: campaigns and Challenge runs only continue from your own saves. This pack is the level select the game never shipped, for both modes at once.
Classic Version — These saves are for the original PC release of Zero Hour (retail, The First Decade, and the Ultimate Collection on EA app/Steam). Zero Hour runs separately from base Generals with its own save files; the matching save pack for the original Generals campaigns is available on its own page.
