Fairgames Gameplay Allegedly Leaks From PlayStation Playtest

Footage allegedly showing Haven Studios’ PS5 competitive heist game Fairgames has appeared online after being discovered on playtesting platform Player.GG, where it was listed under the working title Project Espresso. The clip offers what appears to be the first real look at gameplay for a title that has been almost entirely absent from public view since its initial reveal.

What the Leaked Footage Shows

According to Video Games Chronicle, the Player.GG listing describes Project Espresso as “a third-person PVPVE competitive action game where competing teams race to infiltrate high-security locations, steal valuable cargo, and make it out before their rivals.” Social media users were quick to connect the listing to Fairgames, pointing to both the description’s alignment with the game’s stated concept and the fact that the title requires a PlayStation account to play, a requirement typically reserved for Sony’s own first-party titles.

The footage was flagged publicly on September 10, 2026, when user Radec posted on social media that the clip appeared to be the first official gameplay look at Fairgames, also referencing an alternate title, Break In.

A Long Wait for Fairgames

Haven Studios first announced Fairgames in 2023, framing it as a competitive heist experience with a Robin Hood-style premise. Creative director Mathieu Leduc described the game at the time as putting players inside an underground movement targeting the ultra-rich, with trespassing, looting, and uncovering the schemes of billionaires at its core.

The game went quiet for an extended stretch. As Video Games Chronicle notes, a February 2025 report indicated the project had been pushed to a 2026 release window following the departure of veteran producer Jade Raymond from the studio.

Push Square has also covered the footage, calling it the best look yet at the game ahead of any official PlayStation reveal.

What This Could Mean

The combination of a PlayStation account requirement and a description that maps closely onto Fairgames’ announced concept makes a strong circumstantial case that Project Espresso and Fairgames are the same game. Playtests for live-service or multiplayer-focused titles under codenames are common practice, and a 2026 playtest would be consistent with the reported timeline. Neither Sony nor Haven Studios has commented on the footage as of publication.

With the game reportedly targeting a 2026 window, a wider reveal from PlayStation could follow in the coming months if the playtest phase is progressing.
