Return to Castle Wolfenstein (2001): Saves for Every Mission, All Secrets and Treasure Found

This save pack covers Gray Matter’s original Return to Castle Wolfenstein from the Castle Keep to the final fight with Heinrich I. It includes an autosave for every mission and a save at the end of each of the 7 missions, all from a run that found every secret area and every treasure item. Drop the files in and any part of B.J. Blazkowicz’s war against the SS Paranormal Division is one load away, without replaying anything that comes before.

Saves for All 7 Missions

  • Mission 1: Ominous Rumors. Escape!, Castle Keep, Tram Ride
  • Mission 2: Dark Secret. Village, Catacombs, Crypt, The Defiled Church
  • Mission 3: Weapons of Vengeance. Forest Compound, Rocket Base, Radar Installation, Air Base Assault
  • Mission 4: Deadly Designs. Kugelstadt, The Bombed Factory, The Trainyards, Secret Weapons Facility
  • Mission 5: Deathshead’s Playground. Ice Station Norway, X-Labs, Super Soldier
  • Mission 6: Return Engagement. Bramburg Dam, Paderborn Village, Chateau Schufstaffel, Unhallowed Ground
  • Mission 7: Operation Resurrection. The Dig, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Heinrich

Each mission has the game’s own autosave, so you can start it at the beginning, and a save at its end, so you can pick up at the next mission with the full loadout from the last. That makes the pack a quick way back into any set piece, from the escape from the castle cells to the Bramburg Dam assault or the descent into the crypt.

All Secrets and Treasure Found: Every level was cleared with all secret areas discovered and all treasure items collected. The game confirms this at the end of each level, and the saves keep that progress. The first level alone, Escape!, hides 7 secret areas and 9 treasure items, so a full sweep takes careful exploring: breakable floors, pushable walls, and vents that most players pass. The treasure items only count toward your level score, which makes this pack the quickest way to see a perfect mission screen without hunting.

Why Mission Saves Matter in Return to Castle Wolfenstein: The campaign is long, with 7 missions made up of many large levels, and the checkpoint system only goes forward. Replaying an early level normally means starting the whole game over. This pack gives you a clean entry point at the start and end of every mission, with the arsenal B.J. would actually have at that stage.

Version: Made on the PC release of the original Return to Castle Wolfenstein (2001). It is not for the console ports or the multiplayer-only Enemy Territory.
