Doom 3: BFG Edition Saves: Original Campaign in 2 Parts, All PDAs, Emails and Video Disks Collected

This save pack covers all three campaigns in Doom 3: BFG Edition, with the original game split into two parts of 13 saves each. Every save comes from a run that picked up every PDA, with the emails and video disks on them. Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Mission have saves too. Load a part, pick a mission, and you start with the gear and data you would have there, without retracing Alpha Labs or the Erebus dig.

Original Doom 3: 2 Parts, 13 Saves Each

  • Part 1: 13 saves, starting from the first airlock of Mars City
  • Part 2: 13 saves, carrying the campaign through to the end

The campaign takes the Marine through the UAC’s Mars base, from Mars City and Alpha Labs through the EnPro Plant, the Monorail and Delta Labs, into Hell, and back up through Central Processing, Site 3, and the Caverns to the Cyberdemon at Primary Excavation. Each part is a self-contained set of 13 saves, so you can step into the middle of either half.

Resurrection of Evil (12 levels) and The Lost Mission (8 levels)

  • Resurrection of Evil: Erebus Levels 1 to 6, Phobos Labs Sectors 1 to 3, Phobos Labs Revisited, Delta Labs: Unknown, Hell. Nerve Software’s 2005 expansion adds the Grabber, the Soul Cube, and the Hell Time power.
  • The Lost Mission: EnPro Sector 1 and 2, Underground (Part 1 and 2), Exis Labs Sector 1 and 2, Hell, Hell Outpost. The BFG Edition’s added campaign follows the Bravo Team marines.

All PDAs, Emails and Video Disks Collected: Each save comes from a run with every piece of user data picked up:

  • Original Doom 3: All 63 PDAs and all 15 video logs.
  • Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Mission: Every PDA in both campaigns.
  • Emails: Every email on every PDA, which is where most of the base’s story sits.

PDAs lie on tables and floors, sit in side rooms, and in places drop from a character you have to kill, so a missed one is easy to miss for good. The saves keep the full set on file.

Why This Save Matters: The collectibles are spread over dozens of levels with no running count in the menu, and recovering one you skipped usually means replaying a whole level. These saves give you each stage with the data collected, so you can read any PDA or watch any video disk in order, or jump into the part of the game you want.

Version and Compatibility: Made on Doom 3: BFG Edition for PC. These saves are for the BFG Edition only. Bethesda states that saves from earlier releases of Doom 3 are not compatible with the BFG Edition, and the BFG Edition uses a different, checkpoint-based save system, so do not use them with the original 2004 Doom 3. The game offers only 14 manual save slots, plus an autosave and a quicksave, shared across all three campaigns. Each 13-save part fits within that limit, so copy in one part at a time. On Windows, saves go in %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\id Software\DOOM 3 BFG\base\.

Drop a part in place and pick your mission, from the first airlock to the last gate of Hell, with every PDA already read.
